About the role
Responsibilities
- Guide, direct, and coach employees to deliver exceptional service and manage branch business growth.
- Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth, customer retention, and acquisition.
- Conduct sales calls, establish personal referral networks, and perform business development activities.
- Identify and advise customers on products and strategies that meet their financial objectives.
- Monitor sales and service performance against plans to identify gaps and implement action plans.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and Bank policies and processes.
- Manage unit operating expenses and lead the implementation of new programs and products.
- Resolve complex customer issues and maintain high-touch relationships with key clients.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in banking or a related field.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and competitive marketplace trends.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate and lead teams effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or management experience.
- Working knowledge of branch operational processes, technologies, and performance metrics.
- Experience with consumer loan origination and familiarity with Regulation Z and the S.A.F.E. Act.
