Bank Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop branch employees to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve performance goals.
• Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
• Drive sales activities through personal referral networks, community involvement, and proactive business development.
• Manage branch operations, including expense control, regulatory compliance, and adherence to bank policies.
• Resolve complex customer issues and provide strategic advice on personal banking and credit products.
• Monitor sales and service metrics to identify performance gaps and implement effective action plans.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services.
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and industry trends.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence and negotiate to achieve business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a retail banking environment.
• Working knowledge of branch operational processes, technologies, and performance metrics.
• Experience with regulatory standards and audit requirements.
