Bank Manager

Responsibilities

• Guide, direct, and coach employees to deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects
• Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth, customer retention, and acquisition
• Conduct sales calls, establish personal referral networks, and perform business development activities
• Identify customer financial needs and provide strategic advice on products and services
• Monitor sales and service performance against plans to identify gaps and implement action plans
• Manage branch operating expenses and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and Bank policies
• Resolve complex customer issues and maintain high-touch relationships with key market clients
• Lead the implementation of new programs, products, and regional sales initiatives within the branch

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in banking or a related field
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and competitive marketplace trends
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a retail banking environment
• Working knowledge of branch operational processes, technologies, and performance metrics
• Familiarity with applicable banking regulations and audit standards
