Bank Manager

Responsibilities

• Guide, direct, and coach employees to deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects
• Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth, wallet share, and customer retention
• Conduct sales calls, establish personal referral networks, and perform business development activities
• Identify customer financial needs and provide strategic advice on products and services
• Monitor sales and service performance against plans to identify gaps and implement action plans
• Resolve complex customer issues and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and bank policies
• Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and high performance within the branch team

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in banking or a related field
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and industry trends
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience
• Working knowledge of branch operational processes, technologies, and performance metrics
• Experience with consumer loan origination and familiarity with relevant regulations (e.g., Regulation Z, S.A.F.E. Act)
