Bank Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop branch employees to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve performance goals.
• Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
• Conduct sales calls and business development activities to establish a personal referral network and community presence.
• Manage branch operational processes, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and Bank policies.
• Monitor sales and service performance against plans to identify gaps and implement corrective action plans.
• Resolve complex customer issues and manage transactional outcomes effectively.
• Plan and control unit operating expenses in accordance with established forecasts.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in banking or a related field.
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and competitive marketplace trends.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on complex tasks and influence stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a retail banking environment.
• Working knowledge of branch technologies, performance metrics, and audit standards.
