Bank Manager

Responsibilities

• Guide, direct, and coach employees to deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects.
• Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth, customer retention, and acquisition.
• Conduct sales calls, establish personal referral networks, and perform business development activities to achieve objectives.
• Manage team performance by coaching employees, supporting development, and managing accountability.
• Resolve complex customer issues and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and Bank policies.
• Monitor sales and service performance against plans to identify gaps and implement corrective action plans.
• Maintain high-touch relationships with key branch customers and community stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in retail banking or a related field.
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and branch operational processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a retail banking environment.
• Advanced knowledge of competitive marketplace trends and product offerings.
• Experience with branch technologies and performance metrics.
