Bank Manager

Responsibilities

• Guide, direct, and coach branch employees to deliver exceptional service and meet strategic profitability goals
• Develop and execute branch business plans to maximize growth, customer retention, and acquisition
• Create innovative business development strategies and conduct cold calls to develop new customer relationships
• Manage team performance through coaching, recognition, and professional development
• Ensure all branch activities comply with legal, regulatory, and Bank policies, including anti-money laundering protocols
• Resolve complex customer issues and maintain high-touch relationships with key market prospects
• Monitor sales and service performance against plans to identify gaps and implement corrective action plans
• Manage unit operating expenses in accordance with established forecasts

Requirements

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in banking or a related field
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous supervisory or management experience
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and branch operational processes
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, audit standards, and industry trends
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle non-routine situations
