About the role

Responsibilities

  • Guide, direct, and coach branch employees to deliver exceptional service and achieve profitability goals
  • Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth, customer retention, and acquisition
  • Conduct sales calls and establish a personal referral network to drive business development
  • Manage team performance through coaching, recognition, and professional development
  • Resolve complex customer issues and ensure adherence to national service standards
  • Monitor sales and service performance against plans to identify and close performance gaps
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal bank policies and procedures
  • Maintain high-touch relationships with key branch customers and community stakeholders

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in a banking or financial services environment
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and industry trends
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and lead teams
  • Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred
