Bank Manager

Responsibilities

• Guide, direct, and coach branch employees to deliver exceptional service and meet strategic profitability goals
• Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize business growth, customer retention, and acquisition
• Conduct sales calls and establish a personal referral network to drive business development
• Manage team performance by coaching employees, supporting development, and managing accountability
• Ensure all branch activities comply with legal, regulatory, and Bank policies, including anti-money laundering protocols
• Resolve complex customer issues and maintain high-touch relationships with key market prospects
• Monitor sales and service performance against plans to identify gaps and implement corrective action plans

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in banking or a related field
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and competitive marketplace trends
• Working knowledge of branch operational processes, technologies, and performance metrics
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication and influence skills
• Ability to comply with federal registration requirements, including the S.A.F.E. Act, if applicable

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a retail banking environment
• Advanced understanding of regulatory compliance and audit standards
