About the role
Responsibilities
- Guide, direct, and coach branch employees to deliver exceptional service and meet strategic profitability goals
- Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize business growth, customer retention, and acquisition
- Conduct sales calls and establish a personal referral network to drive business development
- Manage team performance by coaching employees, supporting development, and managing accountability
- Ensure all branch activities comply with legal, regulatory, and Bank policies, including anti-money laundering protocols
- Resolve complex customer issues and maintain high-touch relationships with key market prospects
- Monitor sales and service performance against plans to identify gaps and implement corrective action plans
Requirements
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in banking or a related field
- Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and competitive marketplace trends
- Working knowledge of branch operational processes, technologies, and performance metrics
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and influence skills
- Ability to comply with federal registration requirements, including the S.A.F.E. Act, if applicable
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a retail banking environment
- Advanced understanding of regulatory compliance and audit standards
