Bank Manager

Responsibilities

• Guide, direct, and coach employees to deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects
• Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize business growth, wallet share, and customer retention
• Conduct sales calls, establish personal referral networks, and perform business development activities to achieve objectives
• Identify and advise customers on products and strategies that meet their financial objectives
• Monitor sales and service performance against plans to identify gaps and implement corrective action plans
• Resolve complex customer issues and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and Bank policies
• Manage unit operating expenses in accordance with forecasts and maintain branch operational effectiveness

Requirements

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in banking or a related field
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and industry trends
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and influence stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience
• Advanced knowledge of the competitive marketplace and product offerings
• Working knowledge of branch operational processes, technologies, and performance metrics
