Bank Accounting and Regulatory Reporting Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Bank-specific accounting records
• Prepare and support timely submission of regulatory filings including Call Reports, FR Y-series, and FDIC filings
• Perform reconciliations, validations, and analytical reviews for data accuracy
• Partner with Accounting, Treasury, Risk, Operations, and Data teams to validate regulatory data
• Support bank-related disclosures in SEC filings regarding regulatory capital, deposits, and liquidity
• Research regulatory instructions and implement changes from new products or updates
• Identify reporting issues, data inconsistencies, and control gaps
• Support regulatory examinations, internal audits, and external audits
• Maintain regulatory reporting procedures and controls documentation
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or regulatory reporting within a regulated financial institution
• Experience with bank regulatory reports such as Call Reports or FR Y-series
• Experience performing reconciliations, controls, and data validation
• Experience supporting audits or regulatory examinations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a bank or fintech with a bank partner
• Knowledge of FDIC, Federal Reserve, OCC, and FFIEC requirements
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience with regulatory reporting systems or data warehouses
• CPA or other professional accounting certification
