Bank Accountant

Responsibilities

• Support month-end processes within established deadlines and instructions
• Reconcile company bank accounts on a monthly basis
• Utilize automation tools and cash management modules to resolve unmatched items
• Book regular monthly journals and ad hoc adjustments as required
• Prepare or review account reconciliations in accordance with internal control guidelines
• Maintain accounting records and provide full support during annual financial audits
• Assist local accountants in resolving intercompany discrepancies
• Participate in automation projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 3+ years of professional accounting experience
• Strong background in General Ledger accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong technical accounting, analytical, and numeracy skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a Finance Shared Service center
• Specific experience in intercompany or bank accounting
