Responsibilities
- Teaching structured, full-length lessons
- Tracking student progress
- Taking part in recitals and community events
- Attending meetings and occasional professional development
- Observing and being observed for professional growth
- Maintaining clear, professional communication with parents
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience teaching banjo and fiddle
- Strong proficiency on your instrument
- Ability to plan lessons and manage time effectively
- Ability to keep students (especially ages 5–12) focused and engaged
- Reliability and punctuality
- Willingness to accept feedback and participate in team collaboration
- Ability to pass a background check
- Submission of a short teaching video
