About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teaching structured, full-length lessons
  • Tracking student progress
  • Taking part in recitals and community events
  • Attending meetings and occasional professional development
  • Observing and being observed for professional growth
  • Maintaining clear, professional communication with parents

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience teaching banjo and fiddle
  • Strong proficiency on your instrument
  • Ability to plan lessons and manage time effectively
  • Ability to keep students (especially ages 5–12) focused and engaged
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Willingness to accept feedback and participate in team collaboration
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Submission of a short teaching video
