Banana Ripening Specialist

Responsibilities

• Monitor, control, and accompany the ripening process of fruit products
• Receive, verify, and store goods for ripening according to defined protocols
• Implement ripening techniques including temperature, aeration, and humidity control
• Perform regular readings of temperature and humidity and record data in management software
• Detect and report anomalies, non-conformities, or sanitary risks to the team leader
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and traceability standards
• Participate in packaging and order preparation after ripening
• Clean and disinfect tools, premises, and storage areas

Requirements

• Experience in agri-food, logistics, cold storage, or food processing preferred
• Rigor, observation skills, and autonomy
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
• Respect for strict safety and hygiene instructions
• Basic knowledge of stock management and perishable goods handling
• Physical stamina for lifting loads
• Training in agri-food or logistics (CAP/BEP or equivalent experience)
