Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a team of Relationship Managers (RMs) to meet sales goals and manage budgets.
• Drive business development by identifying and pursuing new clients aligned with the Citi Commercial Bank value proposition.
• Oversee client credit relationships, ensuring the proper application of policies, institutional processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Deepen existing client relationships by proactively anticipating future needs, roadblocks, or risks.
• Execute strategic initiatives launched at the Group, Bank, and commercial market levels.
• Drive innovation in client solutions through partnerships with product specialists and subject matter experts.
• Manage talent acquisition, performance evaluation, and professional development within the team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in commercial banking (15+ years in senior commercial banking roles preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of all aspects of commercial banking and commercial credit.
• Significant experience with commercial credit decision-making authority and complex capital structures.
• Proven track record of leading teams through complex change and managing people, budgets, and planning.
• Strong business development focus with a proven ability to attract and retain high-level clients.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to negotiate at a senior level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Extensive networking and access to Owners and CEOs of companies within the business segment at a national level.
• Advanced level credit skills with the capability to serve as a senior credit officer.
