Bakery Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and work as part of a small team to provide exceptional product and customer experience
• Maintain bakery cleanliness alongside the team
• Manage team development through training, coaching, and performance reviews
• Foster a positive environment promoting teamwork and mutual respect
• Support local community events and the 'End of Day Giving' bread donation program

Requirements

• 1+ years of supervisory experience in baking, food production, food service, or hospitality
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Proven experience in recruitment, selection, retention, and staff development
• Knowledge of financial management, including cash management and banking
• Proficiency in email, Word, Excel, and data analysis
• Ability to stand/walk continuously and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 22 kg
