Bakery Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage bakery department personnel, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees
• Formulate weekly staff schedules, including breaks and lunches
• Implement pricing policies to ensure department profitability
• Forecast sales, monitor inventory levels, and manage P&L
• Perform monthly inventory counts and control shrink through effective merchandising
• Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and established company procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons

Requirements

• Strong professional bakery background
• ServSafe Certification
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with computers and strong mathematical skills
• Ability to stand for long periods in a retail environment
• Flexible availability to meet business needs
