Bakery Host

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional food service by connecting authentically with guests
• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service
• Perform cash wrap and point of sale duties efficiently
• Educate guests on menu items and answer questions
• Prepare and sell food and drink products following approved recipes and safety guidelines
• Prepare ingredients through chopping, dicing, slicing, and washing
• Handle, prepare, and store food in compliance with food safety standards
• Finish products to specific visual requirements according to Magnolia standards
• Communicate product status, quality issues, and equipment problems to management
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Contribute to a positive team environment and assist other business entities as needed

Requirements

• Food Handler's license required upon hire
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 0-1 years of related work experience
• Prior food service or hospitality experience
• Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment like mixers and ovens
