About the role
Responsibilities
- Produce sweet and savoury bakery products for bagged lunch programs and daily menu service
- Manage production planning and quality standards
- Prepare doughs, pastries, cakes, and pies
- Ensure food safety compliance and complete HACCP/Production logs
- Label and date all prepared products
- Maintain and clean bakery service areas and workstations
- Receive and store food, beverage, and chemical supplies
Requirements
- Current Food Safe certificate
- Experience in large scale camp cooking
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, or kneel for extended periods
- Valid government issued photo ID
- Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check
Preferred Qualifications
- Red Seal certification or other relevant culinary certification
- Experience producing weekly inventories
