About the role
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a small team to bake each morning following carefully crafted recipes
- Read production schedules and recipes, measuring and mixing ingredients
- Mould and shape dough and process items through the ovens
- Maintain bakery cleanliness and contribute to a great customer experience
- Uphold Health and Safety and Food Safety (HACCP) standards
Requirements
- Willingness to work overnight or early morning shifts (starting between midnight and 4am)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a small team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Physical ability for continuous standing, walking, and frequent lifting up to 22 kg
- Strong organizational skills and a great attitude
- Food safe and Basic First Aid certifications are an asset
- Prior experience in a fast-paced bakery environment is an asset
