Baker

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods including cakes, pastries, and bread
• Decorate cakes and desserts with creative designs to meet customer specifications
• Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring, and assembling ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area adhering to food safety protocols
• Package baked goods for retail sale or catering orders
• Assist customers with product selections and answer questions about ingredients
• Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
• Support team members in daily operations including restocking supplies

Requirements

• Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or food preparation
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
• Strong skills in food industry practices and kitchen experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with food industry equipment such as mixers and ovens preferred
• Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends
