About the role
Responsibilities
- Mixing, scaling, shaping, proofing, and baking a variety of bread and bakery products
- Maintaining product quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Managing production schedules to ensure fresh products are ready throughout the day
- Receiving, rotating, and handling ingredients and supplies
- Maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
- Working closely with fellow Bakers and bakery staff to keep production running smoothly
Requirements
- Previous baking experience in a commercial bakery, grocery bakery, restaurant, hotel, or food production environment
- Strong understanding of baking processes and food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 20 kg (44 lbs)
