About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare mise en place including doughs, fillings, production, and creams
- Prepare breads for all designated hotel areas
- Efficiently fulfill orders for various types of bread and extraordinary requirements
- Apply standardized area recipes with precision
- Assist the bakery and pastry team with operational and collaborative tasks
- Set up and maintain the dessert buffet, ensuring timely replenishment and freshness
- Maintain cleanliness and disinfection of work areas, equipment, and refrigeration units
- Pack and store preparations like sauces and mise en place correctly
- Report ingredient shortages to the area supervisor
- Comply with safety, health, LQA, SQF, and HACCP standards
Requirements
- Technical degree in Gastronomy, Bakery, or related fields
- Minimum 2 years of experience in bakery production
- Intermediate English level (spoken and written)
- Strong ability to maintain high hygiene and organization standards
- Ability to work agilely with high attention to detail
