About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare mise en place for breads, desserts, and other assigned products
- Elaborate breakfast breads and handle special orders with efficiency
- Follow strict recipes and established instructions for all products
- Maintain buffet replenishment with planned desserts
- Support other bakers and pastry chefs to ensure operational continuity
- Control and report weekly stock of refrigerated products to the chef
- Report missing ingredients or supplies to the area supervisor
- Pack, cover, and properly preserve preparations
- Maintain a clean, disinfected, and organized workspace and refrigeration areas
- Communicate relevant information and pending tasks to the next shift
Requirements
- Technical degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Bakery, or related fields
- Intermediate English proficiency
- Comprehensive technical knowledge in bakery
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the role or similar positions
- Ability to work with agility, order, cleanliness, and precision
