About the role
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality artisanal bakery and pastry products daily for executive dining rooms
- Assist the head chef in food production for senior executives
- Maintain an organized and efficient work environment within the kitchen
- Mentor and train team members to develop individual culinary styles and maintain high standards
- Create a seamless dining operation through creative culinary experiences
- Adapt to a dynamic work environment and accommodate changing business needs
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and ethical standards
Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional kitchen experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proven organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of artisanal bakery techniques and pastry/confectionery skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with national and international sweet breads
- Skills in fine pastry, confectionery, and plated desserts
- Knowledge of chocolate work (chocolatería)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages
