Backend Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build core backend systems including agent orchestrators and extraction pipelines
• Develop infrastructure that processes billions of data points with full provenance
• Design and implement deterministic computation pipelines
• Own systems end-to-end from architecture to production deployment
• Implement verification rules to cross-check extracted values across multiple sources

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production software
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals
• Experience building distributed systems (concurrency, fault tolerance, idempotency)
• Experience working with large-scale data, ETL pipelines, and databases
• Proven track record of shipping systems where correctness is critical
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Rust
• Experience in fintech, payments, or data infrastructure
• Experience with AWS and PostgreSQL
