Backend Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive the continuous evolution, maintenance, and technical integrity of the Odoo-based ERP platform
• Architect and design solutions for system evolution and scalability
• Configure and adapt the ERP system to support critical business workflows across departments
• Design, implement, and maintain custom Odoo modules and extensions
• Integrate Odoo with enterprise systems like HRM, FP&A, and data warehouses using RESTful APIs
• Provide technical support for ERP users by resolving functionality and integration issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with the Odoo platform
• Proven track record in ERP implementation and support
• Strong proficiency in Python and Odoo's ORM
• Experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and performance tuning
• Practical experience with odoo.sh and Git-based workflows
• Solid knowledge of RESTful API development
• Ability to write unit, integration, and functional tests

Preferred Qualifications

• Odoo Functional or Technical Certifications
• PostgreSQL or database design certifications
• Python programming certifications (e.g., PCEP, PCAP)
• Experience in finance, HR, or procurement domains
