Backend Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement core computation and data processing capabilities within a multi-functional team
• Enhance the performance and scalability of the computation platform to process large volumes of financial data across distributed systems
• Build systems that leverage vectorised execution, parallelism, and elastic infrastructure to optimize throughput and latency
• Partner with engineers, designers, and product managers to prioritize system performance, scalability, and reliability

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Proficiency in developing with server-side OO languages, specifically Java
• Proficiency with Linux environments
• Familiarity with infrastructure components including CI/CD, monitoring, logging, containers, and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and REST/web APIs
