Backend Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end design and implementation of scalable systems independently
• Define and understand requirements and write clean code
• Engage closely with customers to understand requests and join customer calls
• Work closely with product and AI engineers to ship solutions
• Manage data storage systems including Amazon Aurora, DynamoDB, Snowflake, and S3
• Utilize queuing and streaming systems such as SQS, Kafka, and Spark
• Maintain high operational standards to ensure minimal to no downtime
• Work in a fast-paced environment with weekly deliverables

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
• 2+ years of work experience preferred
• Proficiency in Python, Spark, AWS, Flask, Next.js, Vercel, and Figma
• Ability to overlap with US PST working hours
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Bengaluru

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of LLM models
• Deep understanding of services in multiple clouds
