About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare low-level designs in collaboration with Solution/Software Architects
- Guide project teams on technology strategy, coding practices, and CI/CD
- Engage in hands-on coding to solve complex problems and technical impediments
- Partner with Product Owners on story creation and acceptance criteria
- Provide a roadmap for implementing software engineering practices to improve code quality
- Mentor and coach team members to maximize their potential
Requirements
- 6-7 years of experience in backend integration and REST API development
- Expertise in Java, Kotlin, and the Spring framework
- Experience with microservices and native-cloud environments
- Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JUnit, NoSQL, and API Gateways
- Hands-on experience with Docker and DevOps CI/CD environments
- Experience working in Agile development environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, Kubernetes, or OpenAPI
- Knowledge of Gradle and Linux shell-scripting
- Familiarity with NodeJS, GoLang, or Python
- Previous experience as a Solution Architect or similar leadership role
