Backend Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Design and implement microservices architectures and RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and QA teams for smooth deployment
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure high performance
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java backend development
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
• Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON, and backend integration patterns
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and ORM frameworks like Hibernate/JPA
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito
