About the role
About the Company
Pylon is building the first vertically integrated mortgage platform that turns origination into a single API. Backed by prominent investors including Peter Thiel and Conversion Capital, Pylon is automating the complex, manual processes of the $13T mortgage market.
Responsibilities
- Encode natural language regulatory rules into executable code using DSLs and AI
- Work closely with mortgage experts to translate domain nuances into software logic
- Design and build high-precision systems where correctness and robustness are critical
- Apply AI and agentic infrastructure to automate complex, regulated processes
- Own features through the entire lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance
Requirements
- Deep curiosity and a desire to solve complex technical problems
- High agency and a track record of delivering outcomes independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TypeScript, NestJS, or GraphQL
- Experience with SQL and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Temporal.io
- Interest or experience in AI/ML tooling and agentic infrastructure
