About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop a cutting-edge Search Engine utilizing Node.js with TypeScript
- Manage extensive data volumes efficiently using Google BigQuery and integrate with Business Intelligence systems
- Build and enhance high-traffic APIs ensuring minimal latencies
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, QA experts, and analysts
- Draft architectural decisions together with the Tech Lead and explore new technologies
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend working experience
- 2+ years of experience building scalable APIs (e.g., Node.js, Python, or Go)
- Practical and recent experience with a typed programming language like TypeScript
- Solid knowledge of SQL or No-SQL databases
- Ability to write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in an English-speaking and agile environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch
- Experience building Data Models using dbt
- Experience with MPP data warehouses such as Redshift or BigQuery
- Experience with centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting (Datadog)
- Hands-on experience with cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP) and orchestration services (Dagster, Airflow)
- Experience running data processing pipelines using distributed frameworks
- Experience with Machine Learning Models or LLM-based systems
