Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop the backbone for a variety of user-centric features
• Enhance the efficiency of real-time data synchronization across platforms
• Boost database and system performance through advanced caching and connection pooling
• Elevate service reliability with superior observability, monitoring, and alert systems
• Expand service capabilities with strategic architectural and infrastructural upgrades
• Share meaningful innovations with the open-source community
• Set new industry standards for software development practices

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience developing high-quality backend systems
• Proficiency in Python and full-stack development
• Experience working with mono repos and microservices architecture
• Experience with message queues and scheduling
• Experience using monitoring tools like DataDog and Sentry
• Proficiency with Django, Postgres, RabbitMQ, and Redis
• Experience with AWS Cloud and Kubernetes (k8s)
