Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop the Entity Service API to manage assets, mappings, market hours, and smart contract parameters
• Build an internal Entity Service UI with robust Access Control Lists (ACL) and user management
• Architect and implement a low-latency, highly reliable dynamic pricing engine for real-time transaction pricing
• Collaborate with quants, infrastructure specialists, and data engineers to establish a centralized pricing plane
• Propose and own independent technical initiatives to improve system value and workflow efficiency

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Golang and experience leveraging AI tools effectively in the development process
• Deep expertise in database schema design, evolution, and iteration
• Direct experience with trading systems and a strong understanding of financial instruments and market mechanics
• Hands-on experience with Postgres, NATS, Redpanda, gRPC, REST APIs, and WebSockets
• A security-minded approach to identifying and decreasing attack vectors across the backend ecosystem
