Meter is vertically integrating the fragmented computer networking industry across hardware, firmware, operating systems, and real-world operations. With a recent $170M Series C, Meter is expanding its product line into data centers to help customers move data efficiently across global infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Work in Go and Python to ensure backwards compatibility and feature versioning across evolving schemas
• Build scalable pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and serving petabytes of data using Kafka, Postgres, and Clickhouse
• Create CI/CD workflows that evolve the API in lockstep with underlying data schema changes
• Enable fine-grained querying of historical and real-time data for any network
• Define and enforce the principle of "smart data, dumb functions" to keep downstream code minimal
• Collaborate with modelers to co-design reproducible, debuggable, and fast training and evaluation pipelines
• Own performance across key endpoints to meet real-time serving constraints

Requirements

• Proficiency in Go and Python
• Experience building scalable data pipelines
• Experience with Kafka, Postgres, or Clickhouse
• Understanding of CI/CD workflows and API evolution
• Ability to work closely with firmware and frontend teams
