Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high quality features delivery
• Conduct detailed design, coding, and unit testing based on requirements and design documents
• Participate in code reviews, share best practices, and contribute to elevating the team's technical capabilities
• Develop and maintain distributed, robust and scalable programs deployed to Kubernetes environments
• Support and debug production issues through on-call rotations

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend development experience
• Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Deep expertise in Golang, TypeScript, Python, or Java
• Strong experience with distributed systems, REST APIs, and backend microservices
• Proficiency in common data structures and algorithms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to independently analyze and solve problems
• Quick learner for new technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Open-source contribution experience
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and cloud-native tooling
