Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build high-performance, scalable backend services using Golang to support core AI product features
• Design, develop, and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Participate in system architecture design for stability and scalability
• Handle large-scale data flows and optimize distributed systems
• Maintain middleware stack including databases, caching layers, and message queues
• Manage Kubernetes cluster architecture and observability solutions
• Develop user management, authentication, and authorization frameworks
• Design and develop payment processing and subscription management systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of backend development experience with expertise in Golang
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and orchestration tools like gRPC and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in database design and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with distributed systems, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and Redis
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in backend development for AI, ML, or SaaS products
• Experience with payment processing or fintech applications
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks
• Experience working in international, distributed teams
