Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the development of robust and scalable backend systems that power web3 technologies
• Design and implement complex distributed systems to support high transactional volumes
• Write clean, scalable, and well-tested code to support cross-chain interoperability
• Navigate a deep technical stack to solve complex problems across the infrastructure
• Collaborate with the team to articulate and implement complex technical concepts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of experience in backend development, building and maintaining production-grade systems
• Proficiency in TypeScript or similar backend development languages
• Experience with AWS services, particularly regarding deployment, management, and scaling
• Experience working with workflow engines

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with blockchain technologies, smart contracts, or decentralized finance (DeFi)
• Strong understanding of backend system design and distributed systems
