Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement product features and functionality for various FinAccel/ Kredivo sites and services
• Work with Product, Business, and Sales teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Write high quality, maintainable code
• Own system components and continuously improve them in an agile environment
• Perform benchmarking, load testing, and problem diagnosis
• Research and implement modern frameworks and technologies for back-end systems
• Participate in design discussions and propose solutions to technical challenges

Requirements

• B.S, M.S, and/or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years of software industry experience
• Well versed in Object Oriented Programming concepts
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Computer Science fundamentals
• Experience with Python, Java, or C++
• Good understanding of microservices architecture
• Proficient in HTTP, Web Services, OAuth, and Restful APIs
• Familiarity with Linux environments
• Strong logical thinking and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based systems and infrastructure services such as AWS or GCP
