Backend Engineer (Infra)

Responsibilities

• Act as an engineer multiplier to empower product engineers to ship features faster and more reliably
• Strike a balance between the cost of infrastructure changes and potential benefits
• Build and operate systems including CI/CD, observability, and deploy tooling
• Handle large-scale data syncs, complex workflows, and high-volume email delivery

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building cloud infrastructure, dev tooling, or platform systems
• Experience shipping and operating systems that other engineers depend on
• Proficiency with Go, Kafka, Temporal, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, or GCP
• Startup mindset with a desire for early ownership in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building internal developer tools that meaningfully improved shipping velocity
• Experience working at a Series A to C startup that scaled quickly
• Strong track record of side projects, apps, or hackathons
