Backend Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale, high-performance distributed systems
• Solve complex technical challenges, including upgrading and implementing state-of-the-art software infrastructure
• Collaborate with various engineering teams to meet a wide range of technological challenges
• Work closely with the product team to contribute to and influence the roadmap of products and technologies
• Build high-availability, low-latency systems distributed across multiple data centers

Requirements

• 2-5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
• Excellent knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
• Professional experience with C++ and/or Java
• Proven ability to independently create and maintain projects
