Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of an AI-native platform that autonomously discovers and remediates software vulnerabilities.
• Architect and scale complex coding agent pipelines to scan and execute large codebases.
• Design and maintain scalable infrastructure for code execution, agent orchestration, and training pipelines.
• Build and evolve evaluation benchmarks for AI agents to reflect real-world security challenges.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and define best practices for backend engineering.
• Take ownership of product architecture, performance, and long-term technical success.

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-time experience in backend software engineering.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or Python.
• Experience with scalable infrastructure and building reliable, stable products.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement simple solutions to complex problems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with multiple programming languages.
• Experience with technologies such as Temporal, Postgres, Redis, or AWS.
• Interest in the intersection of AI, Security, and Infrastructure.
