Responsibilities
- Design and implement key backend and integration platform subsystems
- Adapt and evolve systems to meet customer requirements and non-functional needs like compliance and security
- Lay down infrastructure foundations for growth, reliability, and scalability
- Help create a robust engineering culture by onboarding and upleveling future team members
- Contribute to engineering excellence, operational excellence, and recruiting initiatives
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a hands-on engineer and technical leader
- Expertise in architecting and scaling stateless and stateful backend systems
- Proven experience with distributed systems, microservices, and serverless architectures
- Strong knowledge of Python, Go, or similar backend programming languages
- Experience with API design (RESTful and/or gRPC)
- Solid experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines in multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
