Backend Engineer, Agents

Responsibilities

• Design systems for agent memory, summarization, and context retrieval
• Build workflows and tools to reduce agent failure modes
• Set up observability and evaluation infrastructure for agent behavior
• Scale multi-tenant systems for enterprise-grade reliability

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend or software engineering experience
• Proven track record of building reliable production systems
• Experience owning large-scale enterprise products end-to-end
• Proficiency in designing APIs and working with databases
• Strong understanding of system design, debugging, and observability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI agent orchestration and reliability
• Ability to translate product needs into technical infrastructure
