Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js (TypeScript) and Python (FastAPI)
• Build and manage microservices with effective communication and fault tolerance
• Implement and maintain queue systems like Kafka and scheduled background tasks
• Deploy and monitor services using PM2, Docker, and Azure infrastructure
• Integrate secure authentication (JWT, OAuth2) and develop RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with frontend teams and ensure seamless API integration
• Follow best practices for security, performance, and maintainability
• Proactively monitor application health and resolve issues

Requirements

• 6+ years in backend development with Node.js (TypeScript) and Python (FastAPI)
• Strong experience with microservices, Kafka/queues, and inter-service communication
• Deep familiarity with Microsoft Azure (Functions, App Services, Blob Storage, Key Vault, etc.)
• Proficient in PM2, Docker, Git, CI/CD, and agile workflows
• Expertise in RESTful API design, authentication standards (JWT, OAuth2), and secure coding
• Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with cron jobs, logging, and application monitoring
