Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable, reliable, and performant backend systems using Java
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers
• Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code adhering to industry standards
• Follow Agile methodologies using JIRA and Git
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues
• Optimize system performance via database queries, caching, and load balancing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Java development
• Expertise in core Java (multithreading, collections, Java 8/11)
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Hibernate, and JPA
• Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL (Cassandra or MongoDB)
• Experience with RESTful API design and Spring Cloud
• Proficiency in Aerospike and Redis
• Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch
• Expertise in Microservices development
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Maven, and Jenkins
• Experience with TDD, JUnit, and Mockito

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to the music streaming or digital content domain
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks
