About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain databases for benchmarking, target setting, and performance data
  • Develop and maintain secure data connections to internal and external sources
  • Build data system architecture to automate data pipelines, including API integrations
  • Implement data governance practices, including quality control, security, and access management
  • Collaborate with analysts and business teams to structure data for performance insights
  • Optimize database performance and scalability to meet evolving business needs
  • Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and audits to ensure data accuracy and reliability

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5–10 years of experience in database development, data engineering, or systems integration
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and non-relational database platforms
  • Demonstrated experience in ETL processes, including building data pipelines and API integrations
  • Knowledge of tools such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, AWS, or Google Cloud
  • Strong understanding of data governance, quality assurance, and security best practices
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with applying artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to enhance data integration and quality checks
