Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and micro-services
• Optimize system performance, security, and reliability for large-scale cloud applications
• Collaborate with front-end developers, security teams, and DevOps engineers
• Work with databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Guide and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of growth

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in backend development
• Expertise in Go, Python, or Java
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and micro-services architecture
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL
• Proficiency in AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, ECS)
• Familiarity with message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS
• Strong understanding of security best practices, authentication, and authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes/ECS
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with AI-native tools such as LangChain or LangFuse
• Knowledge of cybersecurity products like XDR, MDR, or SOC
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks like NIST or MITRE
