Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI
• Build and maintain ETL/data pipelines
• Optimize complex SQL queries and improve database performance
• Work on structured and unstructured data processing
• Integrate APIs with data platforms and internal systems
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of services
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and AI teams

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Python (production-grade coding)
• Deep expertise in SQL (query optimization, indexing, joins, aggregations)
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI
• Experience building data pipelines / ETL workflows
• Solid understanding of database systems (PostgreSQL / MySQL / similar)
• Experience working with large datasets

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Airflow or Kafka
• Cloud exposure (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Knowledge of distributed systems
• Exposure to data warehousing concepts
